वाक्यों को मिलाकर लिखिए (Combining Sentences)

1. कुत्ता उठा। वह भाग गया।
   उत्तर : कुत्ता उठकर भाग गया। (The dog got up and ran away.)
2. मुसाफ़िर थक गया। वह आराम करने के लिए लेट गया।
   उत्तर : मुसाफ़िर थक गया और आराम करने के लिए लेट गया। (The traveler got tired and lay down to rest.)
3. मैं दो दिन से बीमार हूँ। मैं अभी स्कूल नहीं जा सकता।
   उत्तर : मैं दो दिन से बीमार हूँ, इसलिए स्कूल नहीं जा सकता। (I have been ill for two days, therefore I cannot go to school.)
4. वह बोलना चाहती थी। वह चुप रही।
   उत्तर : वह बोलना चाहती थी, लेकिन चुप रही। (She wanted to speak, but she remained silent.)
5. जल्दी जाओ। गाड़ी नहीं मिलेगी।
   उत्तर : जल्दी जाओ, नहीं तो गाड़ी नहीं मिलेगी। (Go quickly, otherwise you won’t get the train/vehicle.)
6. वह बहुत बीमार है। वह चल-फिर नहीं सकता।
   उत्तर : वह इतना बीमार है कि चल-फिर नहीं सकता। (He is so ill that he cannot walk around.)
7. ये अब्दुल हैं। ये मेरे दोस्त हैं।
   उत्तर : ये मेरे दोस्त अब्दुल हैं। (This is my friend Abdul.)
8. वह एक गली में रहता है। वह नदी के पास है।
   उत्तर : वह नदी के पासवाली गली में रहता है। (He lives in the lane near the river.)
9. पुलिस आयी। लोग भाग गये।
   उत्तर : पुलिस के आते ही लोग भाग गये। (As soon as the police arrived, the people ran away.)
10. रात आयी। चारों ओर अंधेरा फैल गया।
    उत्तर : रात के आने पर चारों ओर अंधेरा फैल गया। (With the arrival of night, darkness spread everywhere.)
