अभ्यास
I. “राजतिलक की तैयारी” पाठ का सारांश लिखिए :- (Write the summary of the lesson “Preparation for the Coronation”)
Rajtilak ki Taiyari Saransh
महाराज दशरथ बूढ़े हो गये थे। वे अब अपना राज्यभार राम को सौंप देना चाहते थे। इसके संबंध में महाराज दशरथ ने सभासदों से अपना विचार प्रकट किया। सभासदों ने आनंद से कहा— “आपका विचार उत्तम है। श्री रामचन्द्र बड़े बुद्धिमान हैं। वे साधु और सत्यवादी हैं। उनको युवराज-पद देकर आप विश्राम कीजिये।”
Maharaj Dasharatha had grown old. He now wanted to hand over the responsibility of the kingdom to Ram. In this regard, Maharaj Dasharatha expressed his thoughts to the assembly members. The members said joyfully— “Your idea is excellent. Shri Ramachandra is very wise. He is virtuous and truthful. Give him the post of crown prince and take rest.”
सभासदों की बात सुनकर महाराज दशरथ ने अपने पुरोहित वशिष्ठ से कहा— “कल शुभ मुहूर्त है। कल ही राजतिलक की तैयारी कीजिये।” वशिष्ठ मुनि राजा की आज्ञा पाकर राम के राजतिलक की तैयारी में लग गये।
After hearing the assembly members, Maharaj Dasharatha said to his priest Vashishtha— “Tomorrow is an auspicious time. Prepare for the coronation tomorrow itself.” Sage Vashishtha, upon receiving the king’s command, got busy with the preparations for Ram’s coronation.
राजतिलक की तैयारी की बात सुनकर सब लोग खुश हुए। सारे नगर में सफ़ाई की गयी। सारी अयोध्या में आनंद की लहरें उठने लगीं।
Everyone was happy to hear about the coronation preparations. The entire city was cleaned. Waves of joy began to rise throughout Ayodhya.
II. प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए :- (Answer the questions)
(1) महाराज दशरथ ने राज्यभार राम को क्यों सौंपना चाहा? (Why did Maharaj Dasharatha want to hand over the kingdom’s responsibility to Ram?)
उत्तर : महाराज दशरथ बूढ़े हो गये थे। इसलिए उन्होंने राज्यभार राम को सौंपना चाहा।
Answer : Maharaj Dasharatha had grown old. Therefore, he wanted to hand over the kingdom’s responsibility to Ram.
(2) महाराज दशरथ ने पुरोहित वशिष्ठ से क्या कहा? (What did Maharaj Dasharatha say to the priest Vashishtha?)
उत्तर : महाराज दशरथ ने पुरोहित वशिष्ठ से कहा— “कल शुभ मुहूर्त है। कल ही राज-तिलक की तैयारी कीजिये।”
