स्त्री देश की रीढ़ की हड्डी है। स्त्रियों के बिना देश एवं घर की उन्नति असंभव है। जब देश उन्नति की ओर अग्रसर है तब स्त्रियों को भी अपने ज्ञान को अद्यतन करने की आवश्यकता है। स्त्रियों को इसके लिए शिक्षित होना आवश्यक है। स्त्रियों को शिक्षा देना हमारा धर्म है। स्त्री–शिक्षा से उनका दृष्टिकोण ही बदल जाता है। प्रत्येक विषय और स्थिति की हानि और लाभ का विचार करने का सामर्थ्य आ जाता है। शिक्षित स्त्रियाँ अंधविश्वासों का शिकार नहीं बनतीं। पढ़ी–लिखी स्त्रियाँ देश की उन्नति में सहायता दे सकती हैं। शिक्षित स्त्रियाँ अच्छे ढंग से घर संभालती हैं, घर का सारा काम ठीक ढंग से करती हैं और अपने बाल बच्चों को ढंग से पालती हैं और उनको अच्छे तरीके से शिक्षा देती हैं। बच्चों का नियम पालन का अभ्यास करवा सकती हैं। अच्छे रास्ते पर ला सकती हैं।
Women are the backbone of the country. The progress of the country and the home is impossible without women. When the country is moving towards progress then women also need to update their knowledge. Women need to be educated for this. It is our religion to educate women. Women’s education changes their outlook. The ability to consider the loss and profit of each subject and situation comes. Educated women do not become victims of superstitions. Educated women can help in the progress of the country. Educated women manage the house well, do all the household work properly and bring up their children properly and give them proper education. Can make children practice following the rules. Can take you on a good path.
स्त्री– शिक्षा का सबसे बड़ा लाभ यह कि वे अपने पैरों पर खड़ी रह सकती हैं। उन्हें किसी का भार बनकर रहने की आवश्यकता नहीं होती है। स्त्री शिक्षा के कुछ दोष भी दिखाए जाते हैं। वर्तमान शिक्षा पद्धति के कारण स्त्रियाँ फैशन का गुलाम बन जाती हैं। वे बारीक एवं कीमती साड़ियाँ पहनना पसंद करती हैं सादगी से नफरत करती हैं। शिक्षित स्त्रियों पर एक और आरोप है कि वे अपने हाथों से काम करना पसंद नहीं करतीं। वे बिल्कुल नौकरों पर निर्भर रहती हैं । उनके व्यवहार में स्वाभाविकता नहीं रहती। वे किताबों के आधार पर सब काम करती हैं। वे नयी दुनिया में रहने लगती हैं। लेकिन ये दोष सब शिक्षित स्त्रियों में नहीं पाये जाते। कभी–कभी अशिक्षित स्त्रियाँ भी फैशन की शिकार हो जाती हैं। ऐसी भी कई पढ़ी–लिखी स्त्रियाँ हैं जो पुराने रीति–रिवाजों को संभालने के साथ–साथ सादा जीवन और उच्च विचार रखती हैं।
The biggest advantage of women’s education is that they can stand on their own feet. They don’t need to be someone’s burden. Some defects of female education are also shown. Due to the present education system, women become slaves of fashion. She likes to wear fine and expensive sarees and hates simplicity. Another allegation against educated women is that they do not like to work with their hands. They completely depend on the servants. There is no naturalness in their behaviour. They do everything on the basis of books. They start living in the new world. But these defects are not found in all educated women. Sometimes uneducated women also become victims of fashion. There are also many educated women who maintain simple life and high thoughts while maintaining old customs.
स्त्रियों को शिक्षा देना परम कर्तव्य है। उचित शिक्षा पाने से ही स्त्रियाँ शील और सदाचार संबंधी उच्च आदर्श को पूरा करते हुए देश और जाति के लिए गौरव का विषय बन सकती हैं। स्त्री–शिक्षा अनिवार्य है। यहाँ उल्लेखनीय है कि हवाई जहाज़ चलानेवाली महिलाओं की संख्या भारत में अधिक है। पूरे विश्व की संख्या में भारत की ‘महिला पाइलटों‘ की संख्या पचास प्रतिशत से अधिक है। ये महिला पाइलट अत्यंत सुचारू रूप में हवाई जहाज़ का परिचालन करती हैं। यह अत्यंत आनंद की बात है। शिक्षित महिलाएँ सभी क्षेत्रों में आगे रहती हैं।
Educating women is the ultimate duty. Only by getting proper education, women can become a subject of pride for the country and caste by fulfilling the high ideal of modesty and virtue. Women’s education is compulsory. It is worth mentioning here that the number of women piloting airplanes is more in India. India’s number of ‘women pilots’ is more than fifty percent of the world’s number. These women pilots operate the airplane very smoothly. It is a matter of great joy. Educated women are ahead in all fields.
