Bharat ka Shok Saransh
राम के वियोग में महाराज दशरथ ने अपने प्राण छोड़ दिये। अयोध्या के लोग बहुत दुखी थे। इस समय भरत और शत्रुघ्न अपने मामा के घर में थे। गुरु वशिष्ठ ने भरत और शत्रुघ्न को बुला लाने के लिए दूत भेजे। दूत भरत के महल में पहुँचे। दूतों ने भरत से कहा- “अयोध्या में आपकी आवश्यकता है। तुरन्त निकलें।” भरत और शत्रुघ्न अपने मामा से आज्ञा लेकर अयोध्या की ओर चले। अयोध्या पहुँचते ही वे अपनी माता के महल में गये। भरत को कैकेयी ने सारी बातें सुनायीं। माता की बात सुनकर भरत को गुस्सा आया और अपनी माँ को खूब डाँटा। फिर माता कौशल्या से मिले।
In the grief of separation from Ram, Maharaj Dasharatha gave up his life. The people of Ayodhya were very sad. At this time, Bharat and Shatrughna were at their maternal uncle’s house. Guru Vashishtha sent messengers to bring Bharat and Shatrughna. The messengers reached Bharat’s palace. The messengers told Bharat— “You are needed in Ayodhya. Leave immediately.” Bharat and Shatrughna took permission from their uncle and left for Ayodhya. As soon as they reached Ayodhya, they went to their mother’s palace. Kaikeyi told Bharat everything. Hearing his mother’s words, Bharat became angry and scolded his mother severely. Then he met Mother Kaushalya.
चौदहवें दिन सभासदों ने भरत से राज्य संभालने के लिए कहा। लेकिन भरत ने सिंहासन पर बैठने से इनकार कर दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि हम सब राम का राज्याभिषेक वन में ही करेंगे। यह बात सुनकर सब खुश हुए। राजतिलक की तैयारी के साथ भरत, शत्रुघ्न, गुरु वशिष्ठ, माताएँ, हज़ारों अयोध्यावासी वन की ओर निकल पड़े।
On the fourteenth day, the assembly members asked Bharat to take over the kingdom. But Bharat refused to sit on the throne. He said that we all will perform Ram’s coronation in the forest itself. Everyone was happy to hear this. Along with the preparations for the coronation, Bharat, Shatrughna, Guru Vashishtha, the mothers, and thousands of Ayodhya residents set out toward the forest.

उत्तर : दशरथ ने राम के वियोग में प्राण छोड़ दिये।

(2) भरत ने सभासदों से क्या कहा? (What did Bharat say to the assembly members?)
उत्तर : भरत ने सभासदों से कहा कि हम सब राम का राज्याभिषेक वन में ही कराएँगे।
Answer : Bharat told the assembly members that we all will conduct Ram’s coronation in the forest itself.
